Speaker Biography: Valerie Block brings 25 years of experience in the glass industry. She has served as technical consultant to the Glass Association of North America and technical director of the Primary Glass Manufacturers Council, as well as serving on the Glazing Industry Code Council, ASHRAE 90.1, ASTM, ISO, ASC Z97.1, and the Protective Glazing Council International. She is a LEED® Accredited Professional with a special focus on the benefits of using high performance glass. She works directly with architects throughout the United States on the specification of glazing systems for security applications.
