Norshield Security
Products is the world leader in the manufacture of certified ballistic,
attack and blast resistant products. Founded in 1979 to help the US
Department of State upgrade security at US embassy sites around the world,
Norshield has expanded to meet the world’s growing force protection needs.
Norshield is
involved in the highest levels of physical security and force protection.
Currently, we have over 5000 completed projects to our credit. Our products
are engineered, tested and manufactured to some of the most vigorous
criteria in the industry, including DOS, UL, HP White, NIJ, and ASTM. We
have successfully integrated ballistic, attack and blast mitigation
technologies into historic buildings, existing facilities and new
construction without sacrificing the architectural aesthetics. Protection
levels range from UL level to UL level 8 ballistics, attack resistance
protection from 5 minutes to 60 minutes and blast mitigation up to 60 psi,
including the new level C and level D GSA Security Criteria.
