PGC International to Present at
glasstec
The Protective Glazing Council (PGC) International
announced its upcoming presentation at glasstec, an international
trade show and group of educational seminars, to be held October 21-25
in Düsseldorf, Germany. Raj Goyal of Architectural Testing, Inc. will be
presenting “Protective Glazing for Blast Loads and Other Disasters” on
October 21st during the opening day of the event. Representing PGC
International, the presentation will be the organization’s first
offering internationally.
“The Protective Glazing Council became PGC
International in early 2008, and this event marks the beginning of our
effort to reach across the borders of the United States and embrace a
more global approach to protective glazing technologies,” said Brian
Pitman, Director of Marketing and Communications. “By presenting on
mostly American technologies in Europe, we hope to offer potential
members beneficial information as an incentive to join the organization
as we begin to offer services beyond any national borders.”

PGC International Unveils
Industry Speaker's Bureau
The Protective Glazing Council (PGC) International has
unveiled a new feature on its website aimed at providing a central
location for visitors interested in hosting a presentation or speaker
from the protective glazing industry. The PGC International Speaker's
Bureau features industry experts who can provide a non-commercial
presentation on a wide variety of industry issues, technologies and
solutions.
"The focus of the Bureau is to provide educational
opportunities to those who need them most," explained Brian Pitman,
Director of Marketing and Communications for PGC International. "We
aren't looking to add 'buy my product' presentations to this list. Our
goal is for the Bureau to offer education that allows the designer and
building owner to make the proper decisions on applications and
solutions for their projects."
