PGC International Fall Meeting
Takes Different Format and Produces Results
PGC International’s Fall Meeting, held August 31 and September 1, 2009
in Kansas City, MO, was a departure from the usual Symposium format that
is typical of the Association’s second meeting of the year. The schedule
focused on continuing the great momentum within the Marketing &
Communications and Technical Resources Committees, addressing various
initiatives currently underway and identifying areas of future
opportunity. In addition, the meeting was co-located with the Glass
Association of North America (GANA) to encourage greater attendance at
the Protective Glazing Manual Task Group meeting, a joint effort by both
organizations.

Message from Your PGC International President
Dear PGC International Members, It’s an honor for me to serve as the
President of the Protective Glazing Council (PGC) International for the
next two years. I applaud the Immediate Past President Ron McCann (Viracon)
for his leadership and his enthusiasm as President of this organization
over the past two years. During Ron’s tenure, PGC International
succeeded in getting members to actively participate in the Technical
Resources and the Marketing and Communications Committees. As PGC
International President, I will continue efforts to increase member
participation and encourage the growth of the organization. I also
intend to work with the membership to bring more value and additional
member benefits to PGC International.

Following the success of PGC International’s inaugural year hosting its
educational webinar series of presentations, the organization intends to
expand upon its offerings and invites you to submit an application for
this Call for Presentations, to be considered for one of twelve webinar
presentation openings.
